For downtown shop owners
One door. Every shop's customers.
Every shop that joins hands Hidden Springs to its own customers, and every player walks to all the other doors on the trail. So your $49 a month isn't one ad on your own counter. It's your door inside the game that every other shop is handing out, all on one site.
Downtown, counted
No shop has signed yet. The 55 are in the story because it walks past them, not because they've paid. The game goes live when 8 sign.
What $49 buys
Your door in the middle, 54 other storefronts around it. Every line is a shop handing out the same game.
A scenario, with the assumptions showing
I can't tell you how many people will come in, and nobody honest can before the game is live. What I can do is show how the math works. The assumed rows are guesses you can change in the calculator below.
| Low | Middle | High | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shops in the game | 8 | 20 | 40 |
| Customers each shop tells, per weekassumed | 5 | 15 | 40 |
| People told, a month (all shops) | 173 | 1,299 | 6,928 |
| Share who start playingassumed | 10% | 20% | 30% |
| Players a month | 17 | 260 | 2,078 |
| Share of players who reach your doorassumed | 25% | 35% | 50% |
| Players the game walks to your door, a month | 4 | 91 | 1,039 |
| Your cost per player at your door | $11.32 | $0.54 | $0.05 |
A month is 4.33 weeks. "Players at your door" means people who open your door in the game, not sales. The low column is the game on day one with 8 shops, and it's honestly small. The math gets better for every shop each time another one joins, which is the whole point.
Try your own numbers
What the same money buys elsewhere
- Hidden Springs door, a monthThe Hidden Springs Door. $495 to set up, once.$49
- One Facebook ad leadMedian cost per lead, all industries, 2026 (LocaliQ/WordStream, via PPC Land)$27.39
- One Facebook lead, home services2026 home & home improvement average~$41
- A billboard in Hot Springs, 4 weeksAverage of 67 boards. Estimate by Alluvit Media, not a quote~$1,058

An ad runs and stops. A door stays open every day the game is live, and every new shop that joins adds its customers to your side of the math at no extra cost to you.
Who's walking past
These are park visits, cars and county-wide spending, not players or customers. Nobody publishes a downtown foot-traffic count that I could find.
Vendors under one roof
| Place | Vendors / artists |
|---|---|
| Hot Springs Farmers Market, 121 Orange St | 113 full roster, not one Saturday |
| Collective Arts Gallery, 620 Central | 55 |
| Gallery Central, 800 Central | 35+ estimate |
| Artists' Workshop Gallery, 610-A Central (co-op) | 30 estimate |
| The Downtowner Marketplace, 714 Central (in Chapter 3) | not published |
| Static, 246 Ouachita (vendor space) | not published |
A multi-vendor place is one door, but every vendor inside has friends, regulars and a Facebook page of their own. That's a lot of people with a reason to tell others about the same door.
The fine print, up front
- Hidden Springs Door: $495 to build + $49 a month. Complete Storefront (your website with its own online store, the door and the walk-through): from $1,495 + $79 a month total. Pay over time on either: $200 down, then the rest over 5 months. Hotels and big attractions (the Arlington, the Malco, museums): a Landmark Door is $1,495 + $129 a month, up to three doors on the property; Landmark Complete, a website with a booking link plus the doors, is quoted from $2,500 + $149 a month. Shops inside a landmark building stay Inside Doors, $295 + $29 a month each. Shops I already quoted keep the price I quoted them.
- The monthly starts the day the game goes live (when 8 shops have signed). Cancel any time. No contract.
- The $49 includes your store as a video and AR walk-through, your shop's own radio ad, voiced for you, while players walk in (one change a month), your door in the story and your shop on the map.
- Your reward, your call. Everyone who opens your door gets the same thing. No drawings, no lucky winners: Arkansas treats prize plus chance as a lottery.
- Nothing on National Park land. The bathhouses are free story stops, never paid doors.
- Once live, your monthly report shows real counts for your door, so you never have to take my word for the numbers above.
